"We are a family run traditional mixed holding, farming in the lovely Somerset countryside. Animal welfare is the basis on how we farm, animals deserve a good life and in return they thrive more readily, are easier to handle and produce better, tastier produce, whether milk or meat.
Care of the environment is also dear to us as we share our farm with various forms of wildlife. However, balance is the key in all things, and if basic rules of respect, care and knowledge are adhered to, then life on the family farm has a good chance to prosper.
It is great to win this award and we know our customers will appreciate our efforts being recognized in this way."
